The more prescriptions they get out the door, the bigger their profit. And the focus is always on the profit. Prescription pricing has gotten so outrageous that every day I meet people who are having to choose between their groceries and their medicine. Chain drug stores point their finger at the prescription insurance companies, and the insurance companies point their finger at the manufacturers while year after year all three report increased profits. Politicians are groaning and making threats, BUT NO ONE IS DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT!! At Good Shepherd Health we're putting the focus back on the patient, where it belongs. We ve created a pharmacy that doesn t require insurance and never marks up prescriptions. We re a membership pharmacy. For a low monthly fee our members get a personal pharmacist who ensures they're taking the fewest, safest, cheapest medications available. We work with your doctors to fit your medication needs within your budget. We search every prescription assistance program to get your medications for free. And whatever we can t get for free we sell you at the same price the pharmacy pays. No markup. Ever.
